Yes, I called myself a genre whore--but I mean it in the best way! I write any genre that comes out. So it is no surprise that every story I have epublished is from a different category. The Eagle At Midnight (Gods/Goddess in Modern Wales), Royal Cargo (Werewolves and Princesses in Space), Waking Up (Military), The Crone's Query (A paranormal story within a story, a historical tale of two tristans), and The Christmas Cat (Law Enforcement)--And those were just my Dec 2008 releases.
Hi everyone, I'm Ava James, Missourian living at the "Crossroads of the Nation" (if you know my town slogan you are one of the few). I am a hopeless romantic who married her highschool sweetheart turned knight in a bulletproof vest. Mother to three adopted fury children, Biggs, Isis, and Issey; I am a huge fan of everything romance and the outdoors. Now do not get me confused with a sappy romantic, my first love was Han Solo, followed by Indiana Jones, Mr. Darcy *Sigh Colin Firth* and Wolverine.

LOL
ReplyDeleteI've always been drawn to strong heros. But I also go for the ubber smart ones too.
Daniel Jackson in Stargate (Michael Shanks in the series, NOT Kevin Spader in the movie).
And the playfully charming ...
Nathan Fillion in Firefly/Serenity and now in Castle.
And just the damn hot with the voice of sin! Vin Deisel as Riddick in Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick.
You and I are on the same wave length here. If you check my blog Fillion is lingering around there in a post or two.
ReplyDeleteAva,
ReplyDeleteSeveralmidwestern cities have that or similar slogan. The one that popped into my mind was Potosi...
Hugz!
Donica
Ava - mmmmm Fillion. LOL
ReplyDeleteI think half of his appeal though is his characters. He always seems to get the quirky ones.
