Rules and Regulations

As with anything else, there are a few rules with this blog. Hopefully, they aren't too painful.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must be a Missouri author, or live in one of the nearby counties, to join. The nearby counties are an option because sometimes you find the house you love just outside of state lines. Or you may work in Mo, but have to live just across the border because your spouse works in another city and you split the difference.

The exception to this is authors who consider themselves Missourians but due to a military transfer currently reside elsewhere, but have plans to move back to the state once able.

No, we are not going to visit you to verify you do in fact live in Missouri. And no, you do not have to give your address, etc. If you want to share what city you live in that's great. But you don't have to. We are going on an honor system.

GENRES:

You can write in whatever genre you wish, from romance to horror, sci fi to nonfiction news article and self help books. You can be published in a variety of media, from paperbacks to ebooks, newpapers to magazines.

POSTING:

Posts are limited to PG13 content. Erotic authors are VERY WELCOME to join (especially as the primary moderator is one) but content of posts must be of a suitable manner for all authors in Missouri and their readers.

Blurbs, telling about your recent vacation, excerpts, posts about your cat and her kittens, a favorite joke (that is not meant to be offensive), info about virtual and real booksignings, etc are allowed content. Religious and political opinions/commentary, etc are not.

If enough authors join up, we may assign days to post to keep thing from becoming too hectic. For now though, any day yuou wish to post you can. Just please be courtious. If you see that an author just posted, consider waiting at least a few hours before adding you post.

BREAKING THE RULES:

Authors who break the rules, particularly those about excerpt content and political/religous post topics will be notified they have broken the rules and their post removed. Three such occurances and the author will be removed from the blog.
